Even with the above fixes, often you'll have to hit [Esc] to go to the menu, then [Esc] again to get back into the game. At which point the mouse will often start working again. If it doesn't work the first time, try try again. Hit [Esc] twice, then wiggle the mouse to see if it worked. Rinse and repeat as needed.
Classic Axis is a modification for "GTA: III" and "GTA: Vice City" that aims to bring a better visual camera behavior to the game with features that can be found in "GTA: San Andreas" and " GTA: Liberty City Stories" all this only to improve the end user gameplay experience. Features: Possibility to walk in 4 directions.
Nope. For me works either pressing Esc a few times (move mouse around at the same time) or unplug and plug it back, that works 100 % times for me. I'll try ESC again, but plugging it in and out won't work since I've used two mouses to try and solve the problem.
Posted October 2, 2019. Unfortunately, it seems this version of San Andreas is unique to the Rockstar Launcher, and it was released without mouse support at all. A lot of people are pissed off but Rockstar's not said anything about fixing this yet. The closest I've found to getting it playable at all is to switch to joypad mode in the settings
0:00 / 1:25 Mouse & Camera FIX GTA San Andreas - [PC] [Working 2021] Tomboeg 907 subscribers Subscribe Subscribed 4.2K Share 269K views 7 years ago This is a short video i made with a solution Playing the original San Andreas on PC, I set my controller template through steam to Gamepad I believe and it fixed the camera not being usable. If you have your controller plugged in, right click on the game and there should be an option there for controller configuration. 38K views 6 years ago. If you can't move the camera or operate the mouse buttons, here is how to fix the problem. I am running GTA off of a CD on my Windows 10 PC. Your results may vary. • GTA III, GTA: Vice City and GTA: San Andreas should all have the in-game frame limiter (Options --> Display Setup --> Advanced) enabled, otherwise you'll run into odd bugs. In addition to physics-related bugs and cars aceelerating/braking incredibly fast that you'll experience in GTA III and GTA: Vice City, you'll also notice CJ can't swim Here's how : 1. Open your GTA San Andreas 2. Open Task Manager 3. You will see GTA_SA in the "Apps" category 4. Right click on it then click "Go To Details" 5. Right click again on GTA_SA.EXE and click Set Affinity 6. Uncheck all CPU's and only check CPU 1 Fixed in-car camera mouse behaviour when looking left/right/behind; Steam and RGL versions have proper aspect ratios now; Steam/RGL version of the game will not reject 1.0/1.01 saves anymore (still, a compatible SCM is needed for the save to work) Censorships from Steam and RGL versions for German players have been removed I'll try ESC again, but plugging it in and out won't work since I've used two mouses to try and solve the problem. I don't encounter mouse difficulties in games besides GTA. #4
So my solution I came up with was simple: Assign R3 missions (Vigilante, Firefighter, Pimpin', Paramedic, Taxi) to the keyboard and NOT to the stick. This will allow camera control with the right stick and also you can trigger and end the R3 missions from the keyboard. A little annoying, but a workable solution.
Hi guys, I’m trying to check out GTA San Andreas but I can’t get the mouse to work consistently. I am using windows 10, and I knew the old fix to this via task manager but a windows update changed the manager.

While driving, the camera forcibly stays centered. If you try to look left or right and let go of the stick, the camera will snap back to center. YFKQSI.
