Another core aspect to the PVE end game of Guild Wars 2 is strikes and raids. Strikes are 10 player raid-like activities that are meant to be an introduction into the more difficult raid encounters at the end game.

The beta for the weapon master has begun, and I have had a few hours to mess around with various weapon combos. I truly underestimated this system, in regard

1. TerribleTransit. • 2 yr. ago. Dual swords aren't a terribly meta combination. You have four options, though: Mesmer is the top choice. Power Chrono is the only meta build that actively wants to run dual swords, and is a quite strong, though underplayed, DPS option that can also spec for Quickness support.
Catalyst is basically melee if you go hammer or daggers. Id say hammer cata is 50% melee/ranged. Fire and air are both mid range and water earth are melee. As long as you dont mind missing the orb procs. Guardian strongest weapon is a sword and greatsword, and the class has a lot of access to blink/Shadowstep.

One of the easiest classes. It's very strong. What makes it not good for a new player? You can equip a sword and auto attack 1 to 80. Getting hero points would be very easy, once 80. Even virtuoso is the best, highest dps, easiest dps class to play, and it's pretty dam cheap to gear up with rampages being cheap on the ah.

In this Guild Wars 2 (GW2) guide I'll help you choose the class, or profession as we call it in GW2, you should play! At the start of the video you'll find
It also self generates 50% quickness and might if your group isn't the best at 100% uptime boons either as well, apparently. There's a reason it dominates like 40-70% content for a reason, it's easy to play, generates shields, runs faster, has massive range, also might literally survive one shots that kill eles with 20% remaining, and might

Kinda close actually: Spellbreaker, Bladesworn, Renegade, Herald, Condi Willbender, Condi Mechanist (grenade kit use), Condi Soulbeast. Difficult: Condi Berserker, Power Weaver. Doesn't actually make it: Condi Firebrand, but with allies around you your F1 Epilogue would do more damage, pushing it above 30k.

Holosmith, Dragonhunter, Chrono (bursty power builds) for Fractal Farming (good gold to be made if doing daily T4s) snowcrows.com for meta raid builds to run raids weekly (requires skill & group) side note: I recommend getting Season 3 before Season 2, if you have already completed HoT; S3 gives more ascended rewards than S2; and gives access

Revenant is at the moment the better class for bursting people. I'm referring to the power shiro build that sports 90% crit chance in marauder amulet. I honestly can't find a weakness other than a constant application of conditions. Its pretty much a class with high boon uptime, high damage and sustain.
Each "core" class - one of the 9 classes you start off with the base game - can eventually pick an elite spec at level 80 depending on what expansion you have. For mesmer, you get access to chronomancer (HoT), mirage (PoF) and virtuoso (EoD).
I was curious why new players tended to stay away from the Thief in Guild wars 2, so I jumped in to see how it felt playing the core thief in tough endgame c any class has good survivability, sacrificing one, maybe two utility slots if necessary typically won't be much of a dps loss if any at all as long as it keeps you standing, just know which one brings the big damage, and there are a decent amount of weapons with built in sustain. a class being "squishy" or "tanky" are completely interchangeable Guardians have the lowest health (like elementalists) and go for a more magical /hybrid approach. Lots of guardians skills and utilities are group oriented, heals, protections, projectile reflects and more. Guardians are very good at taging lots of mobs with pulsing aoes and symbols, even with some ranged attacks. 91u9Qs8.
